Consumer Price Index / Inflation June 2021

Deflation that occurred in Aceh (Combination of 3 Cities) occurred due to a decrease in prices as indicated by a decrease in the index of expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco by 0.56 percent. Expenditure groups experiencing inflation, namely: clothing and footwear group by 0.15 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and household fuel groups by 0.04 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.35 percent; health group by 0.10 percent; transportation group by 0.44 percent; recreation, sports, and culture groups by 0.09 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.42 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that did not change were: information, communication, and financial services groups; education group; and groups providing food and beverages/restaurants.

The inflation rate for the calendar year (January–June) 2021 is 0.47 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2021 to June 2020) is 2.37 percent.
